When to take a Transpacific cruise.

Best time to go on a Transpacific cruise, with Celebrity Cruises.

There is no bad time to embark on a transpacific cruise, but we recommend the shoulder seasons, in months like September and April. This is when you'll experience smaller crowds and pleasant weather.

You might choose to plan your cruise around one of the many events and festivals taking place in the many destinations we visit. In Japan, cherry blossom season takes place in the last week of March and the beginning of April. During this time, the trees in Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka bloom with pastel pink flowers, which fall and catch the breeze as they wilt, making for striking photographs. In Vancouver, the Celebration of Light takes place in the summer –with countries competing to create the most impressive firework display.
