Discover incredible destinations on a Transatlantic cruise.

Our transatlantic cruises combine alluring destinations with time spent exploring everything that’s on offer on your Celebrity Cruises ship. Begin your trip on either side of the Atlantic – from the east coast of the United States to the west coast of Mediterranean Europe. You might choose to take in the breath-taking landscapes of Ireland and the Azores, finishing your voyage in Florida.

One of the benefits of an Atlantic crossing is the chance to experience luxurious life at sea. You can discover world-class cuisine, superior spa facilities, play games at the top-deck Lawn Club or enjoy dazzling entertainment in the evenings.

On a Transatlantic cruise, you can truly relax and get away from it all. Some of our sailings depart directly from Southampton, meaning you need only to fly one-way.

Transatlantic Cruise FAQs

Answering your questions about a Transatlantic cruise.

Wondering which destinations you’ll visit on a transatlantic cruise, or need advice on what to pack? You’ll find it all here in our FAQs section.

Transatlantic cruises offer plenty of sea days as well as new destinations, and so are ideal for those looking for a relaxing and slower paced holiday.

The journey across the Atlantic Ocean is one of the most iconic and celebrated in the world. We’ll introduce you to dazzling destinations on either side – that means no more fussy logistics for you. Just sit back and relax, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Depending on which itinerary you choose, our transatlantic cruises take in some of Europe’s most vibrant cities, such as Rome, Barcelona and Lisbon. You’ll also discover the beaches of Florida, the idyllic coasts of the Bahamas and the frenetic energy of Buenos Aires.

If you're sailing in summer, bring plenty of lightweight clothing like T-shirts and shorts to ensure you stay cool in the warm weather. As we spend a few days at sea, pack attire you feel comfortable relaxing in, as well as something smart for the evenings and swimming gear, so that you can make most of the pools onboard. Layers are also a good idea for the shoulder season.

The amount of sea days depends on the itinerary you choose, but you can expect at least four days at sea as we cross the ocean. It’s the perfect time to explore everything your Celebrity Cruises® ship has to offer.

Currently, Celebrity Reflection®, Celebrity Silhouette®, Celebrity Infinity® and Celebrity Eclipse® complete transatlantic sailings.

There's plenty to keep you entertained; you can spend the day having a pampering treatment in the spa, browsing the shops or relaxing at the Lawn Club. In the evening, enjoy dinner at one of our speciality restaurants, watch our expert bartenders mix you a cocktail then finish off the evening admiring the stars over the ocean from your balcony.

Best time to go on a Transatlantic cruise, with Celebrity Cruises.

The best months to take a transatlantic cruise are generally between May and September. This is when you’ll experience the warmest weather on both sides of the Atlantic. July and August tend to be the busiest months in these destinations, so for a cooler and quieter holiday, sail in the shoulder seasons of May or September.

There are also plenty of festivals and events to mark on your calendar. If you’re passing through the Canary Islands on your transatlantic cruise, don’t miss the Tenerife Carnival, which takes place in February and fills the streets with colour, dancing and music. In Miami, the Wynwood Life Art Festival takes place in April, celebrating art, food and culture with pop-up galleries and the top Miami chefs.
