PANAMA CANAL HIGHLIGHTS

Natural beauty and human endeavour.

The Panama Canal is where nature meets human engineering to present you with a journey unlike any other. The 48 mile man-made waterway set against Panama’s exotic, emerald green rainforest combines to create a unique journey of discovery.

The Panama Canal is one of the most important routes in the modern world, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Cross the continental divide in unrivalled luxury and grandeur, relaxing onboard and enjoying world class cuisine and amenities. Be ready to experience your ship rising by 85 feet in one of the incredible Gatun Locks!

Highlights of your cruise include San Diego, Colon, where the world’s largest man-made lake becomes part of your route, and Puntarenas in Costa Rica – where you will explore lush rainforest and volcanic terrain.

WEATHER & WHAT TO PACK

Panama is close to the equator and temperatures remain in the high twenties throughout the year. Pack light cotton clothes and a sun hat. While the temperature is predictable, the rain is less so. There will definitely be downpours if you are on your Panama Canal cruise in autumn, with November being the rainiest month. Pack accordingly with waterproofs and an umbrella, but remember it won’t be cold, just rainy.
