Read on to find out more about each of the fascinating destinations we’ll visit (and the ground-breaking features you’ll find onboard). 

Day 1. Southampton

Sailing from Southampton brings limitless luxury closer than ever before. Forget about long, connecting flights and complicated logistics – your luxury holiday begins the moment you arrive in Southampton. 

Day 2. Day at Sea

The first day of your cruise is the perfect opportunity to explore the ship. Start the morning slowly in your own private haven. 90% of staterooms have sweeping ocean views, so you can watch the calming waves from the comfort of your bed. In our Infinite Baclony℠ staterooms, extend the size of your room by 20% with the touch of a button, opening your space up to the sea. 

After an indulgent breakfast, take a refreshing walk in the lush Rooftop Garden. Dine at Dinner on the Edge – a restaurant situated on our unique Magic Carpet. You’ll hover 13 storeys over the water on a spectacular cantilevered platform, offering cuisine and views like no other.

Day 3 & 4 . Oslo (overnight)

The first destination we’ll visit is Norway’s cosmopolitan capital – and as we overnight, you’ve got even more time to explore the city in the evening. Oslo is known for its striking contemporary architecture and world-class restaurants. For a uniquely Nordic experience, spend the afternoon in the KOK Oslo Sauna, which floats in the icy waters of the fjord.

Join us on one of our shore excursions to immerse yourself even deeper into Oslo’s culture. Our Norwegian Explorer’s Tour introduces you to the country’s Viking history by visiting two immersive museums, where you’ll witness some of the world’s oldest vessels. On a City Walk discover iconic architecture like the National Theatre and City Hall before (literally) chilling out with a drink in Oslo’s Ice Bar. 

You can even cross into Sweden using the famous Oresund Bridge to explore the charming towns of Lund and Malmo. 

Day 5. Copenhagen

Next up is the capital of Denmark. Copenhagen is often referred to as the Happiest City in the World, and your visit is likely to reveal why: 15 Michelin Star restaurants await your taste-buds and some of the world’s best museums and galleries, such as the National Gallery of Denmark, are there to be discovered.

Spend a relaxing afternoon wandering the city’s photogenic streets, with their colourful buildings, cyclists and waterways. Indulge your inner child at one of the world’s most historic theme parks with our Tivoli Gardens and Harbour tour.

Experience Copenhagen’s culinary heritage with a Chef’s Market shore excursion. With the help of a celebrity chef, select the finest local ingredients, sample artisan wares and enjoy an exclusive dinner featuting flavours and ingredients from the day’s exploration after joining our onboard chef for a fascinating tour of the galleys. 

Day 6. Berlin (Warnemunde)

The port city of Warnemunde is just three hours from Berlin. The German capital is a fascinating fusion of world-renowned historic sites, contemporary street art and thriving night life. Soak up the atmosphere from the 1930s café in Panoramapunkt, an observation deck with Europe’s fastest lift. Visit some of the most significant sites of the 20th century, such as the Berlin Wall and the Brandenburg Gate. 

On Berlin- a 20th Century Experience you’ll stop at Checkpoint Charlie and witness the location of JFK’s “Ich bin ein Berliner” speech. Our Berlin from All Sides Tour will introduce you to both the east and west sides of the city after a scenic train journey from Warnemunde to Berlin. 

Day 7. Day at Sea

After a busy few days of exploring, treat tired muscles to a pampering afternoon at our onboard spa exquisitely designed by Kelly Hoppen MBE. There are over 124 treatments to choose from and you’ll also have access to our SEA thermal suite featuring eight nature-inspired experiences. Allow your muscles to melt with an aromatherapy massage, take a dip in the pool or work it out in the state-of-the-art fitness centre. 

Eden is the most magical place to spend your evenings onboard Celebrity Apex℠. A unique and experimental feast for the senses which combines food and theatrical entertainment, Eden encompasses three floors, including a restaurant, bar and lounge. Allow ‘Edenists’ to guide you through this unforgettable experience where nature takes centre-stage and boundaries are broken. 

Day 8. Amsterdam

Few locations are as picturesque as Amsterdam, with its winding canals and quaint bridges. Celebrity Apex’s first sailing happens to coincide with tulip season, when Amsterdam erupts in colourful bloom. The city marks the occasion each year with the Tulip Festival – catch installations at the Rijksmuseum, Vondelpark and the EYE Film Museum. 

Speaking of flowers, don’t miss the Keukenhoff Festival of Tulips tour, which will take you to Keukenhoff, an 80-acre garden brimming with over seven million varieties. Admire Amsterdam’s famous canals with our Canal Cruise tour. From a luxurious glass-topped boat, you’ll sail past 17th-century merchant’s houses lining the canals and iconic sites like Anne Frank’s House. 

Day 9. Bruges (Zeebruges)

We’ll then dock at Zeebrugge, just 25 minutes away from the medieval city of Bruges. History feels alive in this fairy-tale city, with its meandering cobbled streets and quaint market squares. Unmissable sights include the Belfry of Bruges – a well-preserved bell tower standing tall at 83m in the centre of the city. The main square, Markt, is the ideal spot for people-watching – just grab a seat at one of the many terrace cafes. 

Get under the surface of pretty Bruges and learn more about its history with our Bruges Sights and Beer Tasting Tour. You’ll be introduced to the city’s brewing traditions and have the opportunity to sample a few choice brews for yourself. Got a bit of a sweet tooth? Day 10.  Paris (Le Havre)

The last stop on our 10-day Northern Europe Capital Cities cruise is the port of Le Havre, from which you can reach Paris in two and a half hours. Whether it’s your first visit to the City of Light or you’re returning for the fifth time, there’s always something new to discover in France’s enchanting capital. Check out the must-sees, such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, or head off the beaten track by heading to Le Marché de Belleville, a historic street market.
