Join us on a cruise to George Town, the capital of Grand Cayman. The island is famous the world over for its glamorous resorts, white sand beaches and sophisticated bars. The best place to start on your George Town cruise is Seven Mile Beach. It may only be five and a half miles long, but it packs a photogenic punch: think swaying palms, water like a mirror and soft, warm sand. Laze back with a good book, go paddling in the shallows or try your hand at beach volleyball. If you’re in the mood to explore, check out the Crystal Caves within the interior of the island. These connecting caves are home to enormous stalactites and stalagmites. Back in George Town, learn more about the island of Grand Cayman by visiting the Cayman Islands National Museum which is housed within a unique 19th century building. If you’re on the hunt for souvenirs, head to Camana Bay, which also offers plenty of restaurants and promenades for strolling along the waterfront. Before leaving, spend an hour or two soaking up the sun on Governor’s Beach, named for its location in front of the Governor’s Mansion. There’s no better place on the island to catch the sunset.
