The Rooftop Garden with its quiet spaces to sit and read or just soak up the sun, is just wonderful on those lazy days at sea. The Magic Carpet® when used at deck two as a launch embarkation platform, is amazing, you hardly notice the transformation from ship to launch. The whole feel of the ship is one of generous space and great public areas. This ship is a winner on more than one level.
The Panama Canal. Okay - this isn't really a port of call, but land is literally at the end of your finger tips as you enter the 3 locks with inches to spare! The canal is an amazing feat of engineering - you are filled with a complete sense of awe at the mammoth task that was undertaken to build the canal and locks.
My top tip is to make sure to research your ports of call so you get the most from them.
An extra tip for the ladies is: don't overpack. Plan your wardrobe - you can wear an outfit more than once. Mix and match 'separates' - no one will notice! Don't forget there is an excellent laundry service onboard if you need it.
