We're proud to introduce Celebrity Solstice, the first in a new class of ships, and Celebrity's first new ship introduction in a series of four new additions to our award-winning fleet.
From its magnificent architecture and design to its advanced technology, Celebrity’s Solstice Class will leave convention behind.
Beginning with December 2008 sailings to the Caribbean, Celebrity Solstice will offer each of our 2,850 guests new levels in style, accommodation and, of course, indulgence – all delivered with the attentive service and attention to detail for which Celebrity Cruises is renowned.

Spacious Staterooms
From the balconies to the bathroom to the living area itself, no Celebrity ship has more spacious accommodation than Celebrity Solstice.
To help with the design of the staterooms on Celebrity Solstice, we enlisted the expertise, intuition and wish lists of five exceptional women – Celebrity’s Leading Ladies – a frequent cruiser, travel agent, travel writer, hotelier and a cruise considerer.
Our Leading Ladies embraced the opportunity to shape and mould the staterooms with a vision of their own, citing a sense of openness, personalisation and intuition as key inspirations.
Designed with your comfort in mind, Solstice’s staterooms are spacious and intelligently designed with improved sightlines to the sea, innovative, plentiful and flexible storage throughout, soft colour palettes and carefully selected fabrics.
They all have a 32” flat screen television but also bring the outside in – 85% have private balconies, 90% have ocean views.
Introducing AquaClass
Celebrity Solstice will also include a new contemporary class of balcony staterooms called AquaClass. With a relaxing atmosphere and personalised sensory elements, the AquaClass staterooms embody the spa-inspired amenities our Leading Ladies desired.
Sharing a deck with the AquaSpa Relaxation Room, the AquaClass staterooms incorporate select spa elements and allow for specialised access to spa amenities such as the AquaSpa Solarium.
The Solarium, with its indoor lap pool flanked by dancing waterfalls and exceptionally comfortable lounge chairs, provides the perfect complement to a day of relaxation. And the Persian Garden – with its soft caressing steam, stress-melting warmth and gentle new age music – is complimentary for all AquaClass guests.
AquaClass guests also enjoy exclusive dining in our specialty restaurant, Blu.
